Bottled Gas Price Capped at 900 TL
Anyone who uses bottled gas for cooking will be interested in one of the announcements published in the TRNC Official Gazette on Wednesday, 14th October 2026. Now, before anybody rushes off to their local supplier expecting a bargain, there is something worth explaining. 900 TL is the maximum permitted retail price, not necessarily the price that every retailer must charge.
If a shop is selling bottled gas for less than that amount, there is nothing in this particular price ceiling that requires it to increase its price.
What about other cylinder sizes ?
The announcement also establishes a maximum price of 90 TL per kilogram for other cylinder sizes.
